Narconon Mexico, the first Narconon ever established in the country, marked its 26th anniversary with a grand celebration. The event coincided with the completion of new renovations to its facilities in Pedro Escobedo Municipality.
Officials, dignitaries, supporters, and graduates joined Narconon executives and staff to commemorate this significant milestone. Guest speakers included Beatriz Mendez Garcia, President of Rotary Club, Mexico City, and Alfonso Ruiz, Narconon Mexico’s first graduate, who has since become a successful entrepreneur and triathlete.

Executive Director Eduardo Espinal emphasized Narconon Mexico’s commitment to helping individuals and families overcome addiction. “In Mexico, family is everything, and drug addiction destroys families. Narconon received recognition for its work from the Quintana Roo State Commission of Mental Health and Addiction, which presented Narconon executives and staff with a plaque commending their lifesaving efforts.
Alfonso Ruiz shared his personal journey of recovery through the Narconon program, emphasizing the tools and support it provided him to regain control of his life. “Narconon gave me back my life, helped me take control, and provided me with the tools to manage my own condition,” he said.
For over five decades, the Narconon program has helped countless individuals break free from the grip of addiction. Its unique approach, which includes a drug-free withdrawal process and addressing underlying causes of addiction, has helped many graduates achieve long-term recovery.
