We have the answers to human suffering and they are
available to everyone.
L. Ron Hubbard
In keeping with the philosophy expressed
above by Mr. Hubbard, ABLE works to bring the benefits of his
technologies to people
and communities in need across the globe. L. Ron Hubbard spent
the better part of a lifetime investigating and researching
ways to improve societyby improving the individual and
giving him or her and their families the tools to rise free
of the traps of substance abuse and addiction, of illiteracy,
of the dead-end route of a life of crime, and of the degradation
found in societies which have lost the sense of right and wrong,
leaving individuals to be guided only by prejudice, intolerance,
and the too-often decadent standards around them.
It is ABLEs goal, working through and with the individual
social betterment corporations of Applied Scholastics International,
Narconon International, Criminon International and The Way to
Happiness International, to change these conditions, to give
children the opportunity to grow up capable and free of drugs,
and to become contributive community members; to enable communities
to develop without fear of crime and the manifold ills which
accompany rampant substance abuse. We work for no less than
that our neighborhoods and our nations be composed of alert,
intelligent and productive individuals.
With the technologies used daily by the four social betterment
organizations, we work steadily toward the achievement of this
goal. The answers do exist. And these social betterment methods
developed by L. Ron Hubbard are today applied in some 75 countries
by more than 800 organizations to the benefit of millions. But
the magnitude of the problem is large; this goal is attainable
only in close cooperation with individuals and organizations
of goodwill and good intent.
To that end, ABLE International stands ready to work with you
to plan and implement effective programs that get results in
handling drugs, crime,
illiteracy and declining morals in your communities and to build
better lives for our children, families, neighborhoods, towns,
cities and nationsfor all of us. Contact us today.
ABLE Social Betterment Directors work
with community leaders and representatives of community institutions
and government agencies, to provide effective ABLE programs
which help address social problems prevalent in the community,
state or country.

The ABLE building houses a special
exhibition which presents the complete picture - the impact
of drugs, crime,
illiteracy and immorality on the society and the full scope
of ABLE Internationals solutions.
Another exhibit chronicles L. Ron Hubbards research into
the problems of society and their resolutions.

"If you go to
any American city and look into the eyes of our young
African-American men and women,
you will see anger and alienation. Why? They are surrounded
by a wealth of opportunities in this country yet are convinced
these opportunities are not for them. This is the result
of illiteracy.
"L. Ron Hubbard's breakthrough study method is the
missing link that explained what was keeping inner city
youth from succeeding in learning and life.
"Through providing these study methods, ABLE and
Applied Scholastics were providing tools that we could
use in my program for young gang members. I saw this unlock
my boys from a life of poverty and despair.
"I have seen dramatic changes in a very dismal scene
and I praise the Lord we now have these answers."
Rev. Alfreddie Johnson
Baptist Minister
L. Ron Hubbard has developed and left for this
generation and posterity,
an idea, a principle, an effective learning technology
with the intention of recreating the original peace on
this planet and an accommodating and caring human heart
to manage it. I would like therefore to ask each one of
us to make a decisive, personal pledge, in our hearts,
to support ABLE. This support will enable it to accelerate
its reach so as to encompass the earth and benefit all
humanity.
